Inspired by the pre-colonial cultures of East Africa, Olawu is historical fiction about a girl who wants to be a physician.

When tragedy leaves her family destitute and vulnerable, Olawu must forgo her dream to save them. Falling in love, and getting caught in the middle of a war, were not part of her plan.
